The other day I finished reading Louise Wener's book, 'Goodbye Steve McQueen' which I enjoyed a lot. It was really easy to read and funny too. It was nothing majorly highbrow or anything and it was a little too close to 'High Fidelity' but it was enjoyable all the same. Her only talents weren't just being in Sleeper were they? I wonder if she has another book. Anyway, I've gone for a different direction as I'm reading a brief history of the kings and queens of England. 'Off with his head'! etc. It's been something I've been wanting to read about for a while and I'm enjoying what I've read so far, even if I'm only up to Athlered the Unready. I love the Royal family, all inbred and full of gays.

I've been feeling pretty rubbish of late. By the end of the day I've just been feeling quite stressed out about everything. Work has been frustrating and horrid although it's calmed down now, I can't get myself into student mode so as a result I feel hopeless at getting a move on with essays (I will start one tomorrow so I'm sure I'll feel better for doing so). I even feel like a rubbish boyfriend as I'm so weighed down by other stuff that I don't feel I have the energy to house stuff. Im fine really and I know this'll pass because I don't get stressed out very easily.

Something has been making me feel much better though - DS! I'm back into it again and have some new games. I got Tetris and Pokemon yesterday. Oh yes. I really want to set up my DS on wireless and we tried yesterday but couldn't figure out our password for Orange broadband :( so it'll have to wait until another day! Still, I'm quite happy to play on my own *cries*.

Spooks was on last night. Hoorah! It was good too, although the plague in Britain was a little bit silly. Still, I'm glad it's back. In the hope of cheering ourselves up we also watched Graham Norton which was hilarious this week. We are so easily amused.

I honestly don't think that there's much else to report, but then there never is when the highlight of your day is going to Morrisons and buying pastries.
