Worst Student Ever

I am such a loser. It's only my second week of lectures, I only have two lectures every week and yet I managed to miss my first one this morning. My train was late getting in as it was, I managed to get a bus up to Headingley and then got lost on the way to Uni. Lost! I was half an hour late for my lecture so I didn't bother going. I'm actually the worst student ever. Honestly, I'm wondering if going back to uni was a big mistake and that I'm just not cut out for it. I just can't get myself motivated to go and do any work either. I mean, when I have to seriously start thinking about essays then I think I'll be better. There's just a reason why I hated Uni at undergraduate level, Grrr. I'll be fine. I just need to kick myself up the arse and get on with it. I'm just annoyed that I couldn't even make this one lecture, and I really wanted to make it so I could get to grips with the module so I could seriously start my essay. Arg!

Anyway, other things. It's been a quiet few days. Work has been hellish for boring reasons (uncooperative staff making my job an uphill struggle) along with one big reason. We've had the Leeds Uni people in and although they've been ok I had to give them a tour on their first day and it was just painful. The feedback the College got was interesting though. All the criticisms we're basically stuff that me and my collegues have been saying all along. Now they might actually listen to us.

Me and James have booked tickets to some shows. We're seeing Madame Butterfly next week which is really cheap for some reason. And then the History Boys in a few weeks. It's been a while since we've been to the theatre and I've never seen an opera so it should be good. 

Not much else to say - Betty Boo is working on a new album. Rejoice!
