I've been a little lax with the ol' LJ lately, mostly because I've been ill this week. I'd managed to avoid James' pox right up until half an hour before I was due to get up for work on Wednesday morning, when I woke up with a didgy stomach. Next thing I know, I'm worshipping at the alter of Armitage Shanks. I despise being sick. So I've had to take the rest of the week off.
Evidence for my illness can perhaps be traced back to my last LJ entry which was a little patchy. I forgot to mention that on Good Friday we went to the park and sat in the sun for a bit. There was a cold wind though so we ended up sitting there in a coat and sunglasses. Suave. And I also forgot to mention that a sacked person at work has been reinstated. I don't know if he's come back or not though as I've not been there this week. I must also reitrate how lovely Haworth was and its prettiness. Sarah got my postcard and seemed very pleased with it, asking me if I saw Mr Rochester, before saying that, of course, I was there with my very own Mr Rochester.
I'm meeting more of my Mr Rochester's family on Sunday as we're going to a Christening. It's not my place to go into it but I must mention the fact that James' Grandma only found out about us a few weeks ago and apparently asked James' Mum if we wear dresses! I do hope Sunday's going to go well, I'm prepared for twenty questions as it is :s
Pre-illness I got given a proper job at the theatre! I got to play with the lights and do the music and sound effects which was quite fun and makes things a little more interesting. Opening night is in one week I think. Scary.
I'm going to see The Tempest in Leeds tomorrow. Exciting stuff. I think I'll be 100% better tomorrow. About time too. I'm missing out on all the lovely weather. As much as I love having the day off, playing DS and reading, I do want to leave the house. I shall miss my mornings of Jeremy Kyle, This Morning and Loose Women though. Oh wait, no I won't. I also won't miss seeing that hideous David Gest advery so much. As if I wasn't ill enough.
