Lazy Friday morning

magictreehouseWork's been quite good lately. I quite like this new set-up we have. I think the sunny weather is having a good effect on everyone :) I do hope that I get to stay in a way. I still haven't heard back form the uni though so I still don't know what's going on. I've just been given some really nice tasks to do over the summer which I'm finding quite interesting. Here's hoping :D Last night, after work I went for a drink with James and his workmates. I like drinking outside in the summer, I can't really put my finger on why. It just makes me happy. Gareth was with his boyfriend and whenever I'm around another gay couple (which happens rarely) I can't help but compare me and James to them. I must stop doing it really, it's a terrible habit.
I haven't really been up to much else of note. Might go to Sheffield at the weekend, just for a day out, although my Sheffield friends are being rather quiet about getting together and after last weekend, I think I just want a quiet one. If it's nice I think it might be a good idea to go and sit in the park or something.
Oh, I watched the next episode of Heroes too. It's still great and it seems like there are a fair few people watching it too.
Oh, and my banana bread was very nice :D
Haha! Following on from my rant about the store Cex, I've just been on to the gamespot website and someone has posted a rant on there that says exactly the stuff I was saying! Except that there's is about the one in Kingston, which shows that it's a nationwide thing. Oh, and the music they get is rap and hiphop as opposed to the metal you get in Leeds. If I didn't know better I'd say they'd been reading my LJ!
