I forogt to mention in my last entry that we watched 'The Departed' the other night. I wasn't sure what to make of it to be honest. It took me forever to get into, mostly on account of me not really liking the characters. However, once I was into it I really enjoyed it, until the end which I couldn't help feeling a little let down by. It was enjoyable enough though and I liked how it was directed.

We have just finished watching the first Series of Boston Legal and I can't remember a series sucking me in so much for ages. It was just so damn good and so brilliantly funny. It's like a more serious Ally McBeal I guess, which is no bad thing although the series ended in a really horrific way. I do really want to start watching the second season but at the same time I feel I should take a break and watch some films or something. James has been watching House a lot lately too. I've not been watching it with him but I've caught the odd one and liked what I've seen. Although, last night, I was upstairs and James was watching it downstairs and all I could here was him going 'Ugh. Ewwwww!' and so I went downstairs to see someone's eye popping out. Yuck.

I read an interesting article the other day about being environmentally friendly at home and it got me thinking. I really should start buying energy saving light bulbs and it's annoying that you cannot turn our washing down to 30C. However, due to Skipton council rubbish home recycling facilities we do have four bins in the kitchen. One for normal waste, ones for tins and glass, one for plastic bottles and one for paper/cardboard. In fact, one of the joys of the weekend was finding out that the recycling facilites near us now take tetrapacks which is great news. So we recycle them too. Rather upsettling though, I found out that cut flowers are really bad for the environment and I've been into them lately :(
