Hmmm, not much has been happening lately and it's a good while since I last updated. Oh, I went for a nice meal with some work people on Friday lunchtime. I need to know the name of the place because the food there is really really nice. I had a spinach omlette. Simple and yet so damn good! And it's so cheap too. Yum yum. Once James starts working in Leeds I think we'll be eating there a lot...Anyway, the people at the meal weren't who I thought were going to be there, which is no bad thing, the conversation was just a little, I dunno, girly I suppose and shallow, although I don't really want to say that as it sounds really negative. I just felt a little out of place really. I always think I'm quite adaptable to social situations but actually, I don't think I am. If it's not a certain type of person who's on my level in some way then I feel out of my depth. It's funny.

Anyway, work's a bit grim, still. I'm hardly the best person at my job at the best of times but when it's really really dull stuff and loads of it I just can't summon up the energy to do it, much like my Uni work so I can't win! I'm doomed!

This weekend we haven't really done a lot, for a nice change. We've finished season 2 of Rome off though which was just excellent. It was a really good resolution and I'm glad that at least some of the characters survived! I think I prefered the second season actually, it just seemed more dramatic somehow. Attia's end was especially good :D So yeah, excellent stuff. The Tudors isn't cracking up to be a good replacement. Some of it's good but every episode seems to contain, shagging, jousting, Henry being a bit grumpy and silly dancing. It gets bit old! We've also watched Sunday afternoon staple, The Life of Mammals. So good. I will work with exotic creatures one day, I swear. Not that an MSc in libraries is getting me anywhere near that goal but there you go. I could work in a information job in a zoo...or something.

This afternoon I have made an apple cake using the unconventional medium of a microwave. I saw the recipe in The Week and thought I'd try it because I've never made a cake in the microwave before. I haven't tried it yet but it smells good. That's been the highlight of the weekend, bar playing DS. Woo.

James finished work on Friday and so was off out for a celebration on Friday night. His workmates popped round on the way from the restaurant to the pub so they nipped into the house and there were approvals all round although the problem of where to put the Xmas tree was raised. I don't know!  We'll find somewhere. I'm trying not to think about Xmas yet until I have to as I don't know what I'm going to do for it really.

Shitty people from school keep adding me on Facebook. Part of me wants to add them for curiosity's sake but then I wise up and realised, actually they were utterly vile fucking bitches to me so they can burn in the deepest circle of hell. Gotta love Facebook.

Cerys Matthews is going into the jungle for 'I'm a Celebrity...'. Very odd although I've no doubt that she'll be amusing. I'm tempted to watch it sadly, at the risk of having my soul vaporised if I do :s Vacuosy TV, got to love it. But you knew all this already didn't you Chantal....
